Lassen College Faculty Association (LCFA) advocates for resources and opportunities for students to succeed within our community. We are affiliated with Community College Association (CCA), California Teachers Association (CTA), and The National Education Association (NEA).

Our Mission

To attract and retain qualified full and part time faculty for our community college students by negotiating professional salaries, family benefits, and optimum teaching conditions. We provide resources such as grants and professional development for our members to be successful in the classroom and the community.

LCFA is standing up for students and fighting for the future of our community. There is no more important expenditure than investing in a stable and highly qualified team of faculty to work directly with our students.
— LCFA President Carrie Nyman, as quoted in Lassen County Times
